GDPR-General Data Protection Regulation
The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018. This text has created new obligations for companies like MyScol that process personal data and new rights for the people affected by this processing, including the right to be forgotten and the right to data portability.
Where is the data hosted?
MyScol data is hosted on servers in France. However, MyScol uses services to improve user experience and for statistical purposes such as Google Analytics on servers outside of France. We have checked the compliance of these service providers with the RGPD beforehand.
Duration
MyScol retains data for the duration of the contract and for a maximum of 10 years from the end of the contract, based on regulatory storage periods
DPO
MyScol has appointed a Data Protection Officer (the “DPO”). The DPO is responsible for ensuring that your Data is processed in accordance with Applicable Law. If you require any further information, please contact us at [email protected]
Our commitments to respect & secure data
- MyScol is hosted in France in a secure datacenter
- No third party sales transactions are carried out on the data collected
- Mandatory authentication of users by username and password. And the password is encrypted during registration
- Encryption of all data during transmission and storage.
- We back up your data daily and our host replicates the data
- Our employees are regularly trained in data handling
- Restricting access to customer data to certain employees only, on the express condition that such access is proportionate to and justified by their mission.
- Encryption of all transmissions between clients and servers from end to end using the HTTPS protocol.
- Our hosting provider has ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018 certification for regulatory requirements relating to the protection of personal information
